Kirby Farrell
CEO

Kirby is a co-founder of Locus Health and leads the company's overall corporate development and operations as CEO. He developed the business case for Locus Health's remote care management approach after co-founding Broad Axe Technology Partners, a technology services firm focusing on the adoption and implementation of Health IT platforms, including EMRs and Telehealth, to improve care coordination among providers, patients, and payers. Prior to Broad Axe and Locus Health, Kirby co-founded two other successful firms: Segovia Inc. which provides satellite communication solutions to public and private sectors worldwide, and Integrex, a healthcare network integration company. Before becoming an entrepreneur, he began his career as a management consultant for Coopers & Lybrand in New York. Kirby is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio.

Andy Archer
Senior VP, Customer Solutions

Andy is a co-founder of Locus Health, where he guides the development and execution of product and program solutions for our customers. He brings 20 years of experience in health care, developing solutions for health care information and analytics-driven businesses. Before Locus Health, Andy was the VP of Corporate Business Development for Decision Resources, Inc., a syndicated healthcare market research provider, and VP of Strategy and Corporate Development for Harcourt, Inc., which led strategic planning and new business initiatives across portfolios of health care and education businesses. He began his career as a management  consultant with both Booz Allen Hamilton and The Parthenon Group. Andy received his undergraduate degree in economics from Duke University, a M.Sc. degree in Development Economics from the University of Oxford, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. 

Bud Zirkle
CFO/COO

Bud Zirkle is responsible for all financial, IT, logistics and human resource operations. Prior to joining Locus, Bud helped found and run several start-up enterprises including Mainstreet Broadband, an internet service provider, Broadslate Networks, a regional broadband provider, and Ntelos, a wireless service provider.  Bud also served as a telecom advisor to CS First Boston’s M&A team in New York.  He began his career with Contel Corporation and ultimately served as its Director of Virginia Operations until it was acquired by GTE.  Bud holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute.

Scott Magargee
Senior Vp, Business Development

Scott is responsible for leading the Company's business development and strategic partnership efforts and key account strategies. He joined Locus Health in early 2015 to grow Locus Health's health system and channel partner relationships around the country. Prior to joining Locus Health, Scott was co-founder of American Energy Society and before that a partner at Philadelphia-based Cozen O'Connor. Scott holds a BA in History from Princeton University and a JD from University of Richmond School of Law. 

Thomas Steffes
CTO

Tom has more than 10 years of experience in the software development field, and has worked in a wide variety of software development domains, including logistics, defense and anti-terrorism. Prior to joining Locus Health, Tom was the Development Manager for Room Key, an online hotel search engine joint venture. Tom holds a B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Doug Lang
VP of Sales

Doug is responsible for developing sales strategy and establishing new partnerships. Prior to joining Locus Health, Doug was the Sales Director for HealthRise, a revenue cycle consulting company based in Detroit, where he created their first-ever national sales strategy. Before HealthRise, Doug was a Strategic Account Manager for DePuy Synthes, a part of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.  Doug holds a BBA from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire.

Lindsey Koshansky, RN, BSN
Director, Client Accounts

Lindsey works with clinicians and systems in tailoring solutions to the needs of the populations they are serving.  Prior to joining Locus Health, Lindsey was a Pediatric ICU nurse caring for an array of critically ill children and continues to have a passionate focus on the ability for technology to enhance the patient’s care experience and assist them in staying in touch with their clinical team.  She has a BSN from the UVA School of Nursing and is currently completing a MSN at UVA School of Nursing.

Lauren Purnell
Director, Analytics & Reporting

Lauren Purnell and her team are responsible for executing all reporting, analytics and data services for our clients.  Prior to joining Locus, Lauren was founding faculty of the business minor in School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Virginia where she taught financial modeling. Lauren previously worked in Corporate Strategy and Development at Pepsico and M&A at UBS Investment Bank.  Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia, an MBA at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and is a doctoral candidate at Darden School of Business.

Jessica Santiuste
Director, Enterprise Project Management

Jessica and her team are responsible for the execution of all client contracts, including oversight of design, software development, and implementation.  Prior to joining Locus Health, Jessica served as the Director, Clinical Operations at Huron Healthcare, where she led consulting teams in large scale implementation engagements focused on operational process improvement and internal software upgrades.  Jessica began her career in General Electric's Operations Management Leadership Program serving in multiple supply chain roles.  Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech.  She is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

Patti Dewberry, RN, CCM
Director, Clinical Operations

Patti has been a nurse for 22 years and has experience in both Managed Care and Disease Management. Prior to joining Locus Health, Patti worked for Memorial HealthCare in Long Beach, CA. as Director of Clinical Services.  There she implemented innovative programs designed to keep seniors in the community healthy and active, as well as supervising Case Management, Disease Management, Quality Improvement, and Utilization Management departments.  Patti received her ASN from Excelsior College in Albany, New York and has certifications in Case Management and Geriatric Case Management.

Jason Halloran
Director, Information Technology

Jason's team is responsible for maintaining the company’s network and critical business systems. Jason also serves as Locus Health’s Information Security Officer where he has instituted a comprehensive IT Security Program.  Prior to joining Locus Health, Jason served as Director, Administration and Information Technology with Cardno, a global environmental engineering consulting firm. Additionally, Jason has served as a technology consultant to various medical clinics requiring HIPAA compliance, data integration and security.  Jason holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Management from Old Dominion University.

Gary Parkhill
Director, Logistics & Field Operations

Gary and his team are responsible for the field support of Locus Health’s Remote Care Solutions platform and the Logistics group which handles the purchasing and shipping of devices for all programs. Gary has 25 years of experience in supporting field operations for the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.  Prior to Locus Health Gary held technical positions at ALCOA Research, managerial and technical positions at DYAX Corp, SyntraChem and Worrell Water Technologies and also served as a Procurement Officer for the University of Virginia.

TQ Evans PHR, SHRM-CP
Director, People Operations

TQ  is responsible for Human Resources, Payroll, Recruiting Employee Relations/Engagement and Culture. Prior to joining Locus Health, TQ lead the Human Resources team at CCRI, Commonwealth Computer Research, Inc. and the Institute for Shipboard EducationSemester at Sea. She has also worked with the Employer Relations team at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. TQ is an alumna of Mary Baldwin University and holds a Masters Degree In Human Resources Management and a Communications Degree from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.

Kelly Landes
Director, Organization & Development

 Kelly is responsible for continued assessment of the current organizational process, strategic internal communication enhancement, and the development and implementation of a comprehensive employee leadership program. Prior to joining Locus Health, Kelly owned a private therapy practice for 14 years. Kelly has a BA from the University of Virginia and an MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University. 

Mike Schneider
Director, Sales

Mike is responsible for identifying and creating new partnerships with hospitals, health systems and payers.  Mike comes from a family of clinicians and enjoys playing a role in improving upon the delivery of care to patients. Prior to joining Locus Health, Mike was the Director of Sales at Monticello Media where he led the business development team.  Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Appalachian State University.
